Molly – Northern California
MOLLY, approx 4 y/o blue female Weimaraner. Molly was picked up running loose with a dog friend. She is very sweet and loves to be with people; she desperately wants to bond with HER human! She is athletic and would make an excellent hiking or running partner. Molly has a prey drive, so no cats! While her recall is very good, her adopter must work on her recall to be sure she is under control when off leash on hiking trails, given her prey drive for cats and bunnies. Molly is crate trained, house trained, and gets along with other dogs. She is protective of her food with other dogs but not humans. Molly tends to be the alpha female, so she will do best with a submissive male dog, and will be fine with no dog companion, so long as her person is with her most of the time. Obedience training is recommended to build her confidence and to expedite the bonding period with her person. Her tail is docked, though not done perfectly. Molly is heart worm negative, current on vaccines, recent teeth cleaning, and spayed. She is a beautiful blue girl who needs a forever home where she will get lots of forever TLC! In Portola.
