Trae-Mt. Sherman KY- Adopted!
Hi everybody! My name is Trae. I am a beautiful, blue, neutered male Weimaraner who is approximately one year old. I am up-to-date on all vaccines, heart worm negative and on Interceptor, and I’m micro chipped. Before I came into rescue, I was treated very badly. My owners locked me up in a shed in their yard, and didn’t let me out even to go to the bathroom. They cut a hole in the side of the shed, and I had to stick my head out to get a drink of water from a bucket. They didn’t feed me much, so my bones stick out all over. I was there for a very long time until some nice people from animal control came and got me. They turned me over to the Louisville Weimaraner Rescue, and WOW, has my life changed! I am clean, safe, warm and well-fed now. At my foster home, I have a brother Weim and three sister Weims to play with. I love to run. I have tons of energy, and am only still when I’m sleeping. I have lots of things to learn, but I’m very smart and catching on quickly. When I get a forever home, I need someone who is there most of the time. I wouldn’t do well alone or crated for long periods. I am sweet-natured, but very boisterous, so I would do better with older children rather than toddlers. I would be happiest if I can have a young, active canine playmate. I also need lots of room to run and stretch my long legs. I am still very much a puppy, so my forever person needs to be patient; loving, but firm; and willing to help me learn. I am beginning to trust, and I have so much love to share. Do you have room in your home and your heart for me? I am being fostered in Mt. Sherman, KY.If you are interested in this Weim, please go to www.louisvilleweimrescue.com and fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application we will contact you. Thank you!
Trae is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered
