Shooter-Louisville-Adopted

My name is Shooter, and I am a 3-year-old blue Weim who weighs 80 pounds. I have a little baggy skin around my head, big floppy ears, and have been called “a gigantic puppy” before. I am a big boy with an outgoing personality who is always primed and ready to go! I used to live with a family, but their dynamics changed and there was nowhere else for me to go. I then lived in a cage in a barn for 5 weeks before coming to LWR. I had a few scratches and sores on my nose from trying to get out of my cage whiAbbey Ward Home ch are now healed, but this means no crate for me, but I do great in the house when left alone. We all have our scars, right? I like to eat, run through the woods, get belly rubs, run through the woods, play with my toys, run through the woods, sleep and you guessed it – run through the woods! I ride well in the car and am getting better with every passing day running off leash. I would love to sleep with you at night, but am sleeping on a “dog couch” right now. I walk well on my prong collar, and love hiking the trails where I am nose-to-the-ground the whole time. I am living with 3 other dogs now and like every dog I meet. I would love to have a furry sibling to keep me company if you are gone during the day, but none that look like yummy little critters. There are even certain dogs I have met that I wanted to play with the whole day through! I love my toys the best, and will bring you toys to get you to play with me or I will just lie on my bed and squeak them when bored or tired. When I go to sleep at night my foster parents laugh at my bed because there are usually several toys all around me. I would like an active owner who can keep up with me and one who understands the dog world and how we express ourselves without the ability to use words. I am learning human language, but understand dog language the best. I am pretty tall and play with my mouth some, so kids taller than me are probably the best, but I do love everyone! I am a little territorial of my yard and will bark loudly at strangers when I am in the back-yard, but once they come in the house I just want attention and to play with them! A tall privacy fence would be ideal for me. Do you think you can keep up with me and be as loyal to me as I will be to you?
