Enzo – Northern California

4.5 y/o male blue Weimaraner. This beautiful blue is looking for a new,
loving home; his human companions separated and they are moving into
apartments. Plus, his very best friend (a Bernese Mtn. dog), was rehomed early
January, so he needs a loving, supportive home. Enzo has a lot of personality and is a
character; he is friendly with people of all ages. Enzo is in excellent physical shape -
he is athletic, loves to go on walks and runs, and enjoys hunting for wildlife in the
back yard. Enzo is an explorer with no common street sense, so he needs a watchful
handler (he’s just sure there is another interesting bird or squirrel just around that
corner!) On leash, he will pull if he senses he can get away with it.  His dog walker
has complete control, his owner, not so much.  Enzo is a good boy and likes to please,
so he is prime for obedience training!  Enzo reacts to dominant dogs with a protective

bark and stance, but will respond to a confident handler’s correction. He is
comfortable and enjoys the company of submissive or calm-assertive dogs.  He is
neutered and current on shots. Entering NCWR’s program the first week of February.
