Duke-South Dakota

6/25/09 - Duke in South Dakota Duke has come a long ways in the couple of months he’s been in rescue. At three years old he hasn’t endured the worst, but he’s had a few obstacles to overcome that will remind him of a past that brought him a brighter future. Duke is a good family dog as well as a companion dog. Sometimes he likes to bark at you to be sure you hear how much he likes to be by you. He’s got a quirky personality and gets a lot of comments on his good looks. One of his funny flaws is he gets really excited when its feeding time and becomes a kangaroo hopping all over, he eventually will sit and wait, but its funny to watch him bounce. Duke is another rare weim that can live with cats, but on the flip side of that he is not a hunting dog. Duke is of course a weim and yes he to has those common behavior issues most weims have. We feel that an ideal home for Duke would be one that has a family-aside from being able to care for his basic needs-may be able to be home most of the time;can take him on lots of car rides; and is looking for a unique weim to have with them on lifes adventures. Please email Lindsey at sdweimrescuerc@yahoo.com if you’d like more info on Duke.
